These include things like honesty, fairness, and  equality.  Moral  principles can be different for everyone because they depend on how a person was raised and what is important to them in life. History of Moral Principles The history of moral principles dates back to Ancient Greece and Ancient China. Moral principles were important in these societies because they believed that to be successful, people needed a clear sense of right and wrong. Student Misbehavior: An Exploratory Study Based on Sri Lankan Secondary School Teachers’ Perceptions - Kanchana. R. Menikdiwela

Student misbehavior is one of the most common problems affecting schools around the world. The main objectives of this study were to identify common and unacceptable misbehaviors of secondary school students and the reasons behind student misbehaviors from Sri Lankan teachers’ point of view. A qualitative research study was conducted with twelve Sri Lankan secondary school teachers. The findings of the research study revealed that current secondary school students do not respect teachers, show more self-centered behaviors and engage in more problematic behaviors in school which are harmful for themselves as well as for the others, compared to the students that the teachers have taught and been with 10-15 years ago. A list of 17 student classroom misbehaviors and a list of 07 school based student misbehaviors were generated. Director General of the National Institute of Education, Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navaratne said that the education sector would be reformed to include an element promoting moral education to provide students with guidance on morality and values, improve their social understanding and capacity for social mobility, and thus ensure their development as responsible citizens. Addressing the media at the Cinnamon Grands in Colombo on Friday to unveil reforms to be introduced with the help of educationists from Finland, Dr. Navaratne said that there was an increasing moral decay and the education system. அண்மையில் க.பொ.த சாதாரணதர பரீட்சை எழுதிய மாணவர்கள் பரீட்சைகள் முடிந்த கடைசி நாளன்று வகுப்பறைகளிலும் வகுப்புக்கு வெளியேயும் அட்டகாசம் செய்ததாக சில ஒளிப்படங்கள் வெளியாகின. இந்த ஒளிப்படங்களை வைத்து மூன்று விதமான கருத்துக்கள் கூறப்பட்டன. முதலாவது ,  சில மாணவர்கள் செய்த குழப்படிகளுக்காக எல்லா மாணவர்களையும் குற்றங் கூறக்கூடாது என்று. இரண்டாவது ,  அந்த வயதுக்கு அவர்கள் அப்படித்தான் இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் அந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை அனுபவிக்க விடுங்கள் என்பது. மூன்றாவது ,  ஆசிரியர்களின் கைகளில் இருந்து பிரம்பு பறிக்கப்பட்டதால் மாணவர்கள் தறிகெட்டுப் போய்விட்டார்கள் என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டு. பரீட்சை முடிந்த கடைசி நாளைக் கொண்டாடுவது என்பது ஒரு பொதுவான மாணவ உளவியல். கல்விமுறை அல்லது கல்விச் சூழல் தாக்கம்   அதை எப்படி கொண்டாடுகிறார்கள் என்பதுதான் இங்கு பிரச்சினை. இதை இரண்டு விடயங்கள் தீர்மானிக்கின்றன. ஒன்று பரீட்சை எத்தகையது என்பது. அல்லது கல்விமுறை அல்லது கல்விச் சூழல் எத்தகையது என்பது. இரண்டாவது மாணவர்களுக்கு யார் முன்மாதிரிகள் என்பது. முதலாவதாக கல்விச் சூழல் பற்றிப் பார்க்கலாம். இலங்கைத் தீவு அ...
